Repeat Prescriptions
PLEASE NOTE THAT FROM 1ST APRIL 2024 OUR WEBSITE WILL BE CHANGING. YOU WILL NO LONGER BE ABLE TO LOG ONTO THE REPEAT PRESCRIPTION SYSTEM TO ORDER YOUR MEDICATION YOUR OPTIONS WILL BE TO EITHER COMPLETE A FORM THROUGH THE NEW WEBSITE LISTING ON A FORM THE ITEMS YOU REQUIRE OR EMAIL DIRECT TAY.nethergateprescriptions@nhs.scot or by hand or post. THESE CHANGES ARE IN LINE WITH NHS GUIDANCE REGARDING CONTROLLING PATIENT DATA.
Patients on long-term medication can order repeat prescriptions in a number of ways:
Online - follow link at the top of this page and carry out a simple registration
When logging onto the repeat prescription system, please ensure that you manually enter your email address and password. You may experience difficulties accessing your account if your device offers to auto-populate with your stored log-in details. You will also experience problems if a space is entered after your email address.

- By Hand – drop your tear-off repeat slip in at reception with the required items clearly marked.
- By Post – send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
We can also make available a service whereby your repeat prescription can be uplifted at a local chemist. Please ask at reception for further details.
Practice Pharmacist
A practice pharmacist provides support to our practice team. Although a lot of her work involves reviewing procedures and projects within the practice she will be pleased to see any patient to discuss their medication. An appointment must be made for this service.
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor, pharamacist or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications.
Please allow two full working days between requesting and collecting your medication.
